In the Captain’s day room

Captain Nilseman is sitting in his day room writing in the logbook. He has been on long sea voyages before, but this is his first as captain. He can only hope that everything will go well on the journey to England. As captain, he is in charge of and responsible for absolutely everything and everyone on board: the ship, the crew and the cargo. This early summer, the weather has mostly been good and Captain Nilseman is confident there won’t be any severe storms on the crossing to England.
