Out in the yard

The weather has been rainy all spring, but at last the sun is out! Laundry day had been put off several times now, pending better weather, but today the weather is fine and the laundry should have time to dry. Jakob is stirring the washing cauldron, while Linnea is hanging the laundry, all washed and rinsed, to dry. Maria has brought the sheep out for shearing. They will then be taken out to their summer pasture on the skerries.
